Feel free to join us at any one of the Council meetings to observe a Town Council meeting.(Held first and third Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.)

NEW for 2017 Municipal Election -  If a candidate is planning to accept campaign contributions, that candidate must register with the municipality by submitting a completed Form 3A. Application for registration of Notice of Intent to Become a Candidate for Municipal Office.  Form 3A

Important Dates

Nomination Day:          September 18, 2017  10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the 

Town Office Chambers


Advanced Vote:            October 2, 2017 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the 

Lou Soppit Community Centre

Election Day:                October 16, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the
Lou Soppit Community Centre

The Institution Vote will be held on October 16, 2017 at the Rocky General Hospital, Clearwater Centre and Rocky Seniors Housing Council complexes.  The times will be set later for each location.

 NOTE:  The Town does not have a list of electors so ID is mandatory.

Voter Identification Requirements

When you vote you will be 
required to bring identification.  There are different forms of government issued identification that are acceptable so please check out this website to find out what you require.  An Operator’s (Driver’s) Licence or an Alberta Identification Card are acceptable as they have picture ID and your address.  Other options are available, but you will have to have 2 pieces of identification with you both showing your name and at least one showing your address.
