Construction to begin on 54 St. Extension project
The Town of Rocky Mountain House is set to begin work on its 54 St. Extension project.
Pidherney's Inc. will be installing utilities and roadway on 54 St., between 45th Avenue (Creekside) and 49th Avenue. Work will being late July, and continue through to October.
Concrete, Paving and Landscape work will be completed in 2021.
As part of the works upgrades will occur at the intersection of 54th Street and 49th Avenue. The intersection will be closed for a period of time while new curbing and asphalt are completed.
Adjacent residents will receive a notice before the intersection work begins.
Access will always be maintained to the Town Center Mobile Home Park as well as the residents on the east side of 54th Street south of 52nd Avenue.
Please maintain a safe distance from the construction site and equipment. The existing path through the bush connecting Creekside to 49th Avenue will be closed. Please take an alternate route.
Hours of construction will be from 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday work and evening work may also be required as weather and schedule requirements dictate. In these circumstances the noise bylaw will be adhered to.
