Paper Bill Fee Starts in July
Starting July 2026, a $2.00 fee will be added to all paper utility bills.
Producing and mailing paper utility bills is a significant cost. Utility customers who choose to receive a paper bill will be charged a fee to cover these costs starting on their July utility bill.
The printing and mailing costs were previously included in the utility rates. By shifting how we recover these costs, the Town of Rocky Mountain House can help keep overall rate increases as low as possible.
To continue to receive bills for free, utility customers can change their billing preference from paper to email.
