Positive Ticket Program

Protective Services Positive Ticket Program aims to award youth who are making positive contributions to the community, whether that’s staying active, wearing a helmet, helping a neighbor, or simply making good decisions. It’s all about recognizing the little things that help make Rocky Mountain House a better place for everyone, and having positive interactions with Law Enforcement.

This program has been in place since 2019, and its continued success is thanks to the incredible support from local businesses and community partners, including:

  • 7-11
  • A&W
  • Copper Creek Café and Coffee
  • Circle K
  • Dairy Queen
  • Edo
  • McDonald's
  • Panago Pizza
  • Rocky Cinemas
  • Rocky Credit Union
  • Rocky Mountain Mudd
  • Subway
  • The Burger Parlour
  • The Town of Rocky Mountain House

These partners have generously contributed to the rewards that youth recipients of Positive Tickets enjoy. Whether it's a free movie ticket, a delicious treat, or a fun outing, these rewards give winners a little extra something for all their hard work.

Over the past two years, nearly 300 Positive Tickets have been handed out by members of Protective Services.

So, next time you see a Protective Services member out and about, remember they might just be handing out a Positive Ticket to someone doing something great! And who knows, maybe you'll be next in line for a reward!
