The Town of Rocky Mountain House relies on informed and engaged residents to serve as public members on various boards and committees. Browse the current openings below, then complete an application form. 

Members are appointed at Council's Organizational Meeting each October, or throughout the year as vacancies arise.

Please submit an application form stating qualifications, related experience, community involvement and reasons for serving on the board of your choice. You can pick up an application form at the Town Office or download an application form here.

The Community Events Committee is responsible for the creation, coordination and promotion of community events that showcase the Town of Rocky Mountain House.

This is a working committee, whose members are be hands-on in planning and executing fun, inclusive events for the community.

If you've got ideas, AND the drive to make them happen, this committee is for you!

Complete an application form and return it by e-mail to legislative@trmh.ca.

Council is looking for 1 public member to fill a vacancy. Members must be residents of Rocky Mountain House or Clearwater County.

The committee will meet at least 4 times per year.

What will this committee do?

  • Create an Annual Plan for community events with project budgets and recommendations.
  • Organize and hold Community Events based on the Annual Plan. (This is a hands-on role!)
  • Evaluate and advise based on budgets, community surveys, volunteer feedback, and vendor feedback on Committee-related events.
  • Encourage other community groups and residents of the Town of Rocky Mountain House to actively become involved in the organization of community events.
  • Actively recruit volunteers and sponsors to host community events.
  • Promote, execute and take part in events.
