Council's Advisory Boards and Committees
Clearwater Regional Family & Community Support Services Board
The Town has one (1) public member position on the Clearwater Regional Family & Community Support Services (CRFCSS) Board. The member must be a resident of the Town of Rocky Mountain House or be employed in the Town of Rocky Mountain House. The position advises the CRFCSS program, including determining the needs of the community, being aware of resources and reviewing funding applications.
The Board meets approximately ten times a year, typically on the second Wednesday of each month, excluding July and August, at 12:00 p.m. (noon). The term appointment is three (3) years.

Community Events Committee
The Town has five (5) public member positions on the Community Events Committee. Members must be a resident of the Town of Rocky Mountain House or Clearwater County. These positions advise and actively participate in the creation, coordination and promotion of community events that showcase the Town of Rocky Mountain House.
The Committee meets a minimum of four (4) times a year, times and locations of the meetings to be determined. The term appointment for the Committee is a maximum of two (2) years.

Policing Committee
The Town has three (3) public member positions on the Policing Committee. The members must be a resident of the Town of Rocky Mountain House, present a clean criminal record check and take an Oath of Office. The positions advise the Town on local policing matters, as per Policing Bylaw 2018/26V.
The Committee meets every two months, times and locations of the meetings to be determined. The term appointment is three (3) years.

Rocky Mountain House/Clearwater County Health Professions Engagement Team
The Town has two (2) public member positions on the Rocky Mountain House/Clearwater County Health Professions Engagement Team. The members must be a resident of the Town of Rocky Mountain House. The positions assist in building a sustainable system for physician recruitment and retention that will ensure ongoing physician and other health services to our community.
The Board meets on the first Wednesday of the month, excluding July and August. The term appointment is two (2) years.

Rocky Public Library Board
The Town has three (3) public member positions on the Rocky Public Library Board. The members must be a resident of the Town of Rocky Mountain House. The positions provide governance for the Rocky Public Library.
The Board meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month, excluding July and August, at 7:00 p.m . The term appointment is three (3) years.

Rocky Senior Housing Council
The Town has one (1) public member position on the Rocky Senior Housing Council. The member must be a resident of the Town of Rocky Mountain House. The Rocky Senior Housing Council has a mandate to provide affordable housing for senior citizens who are functionally independent with the assistance available through existing community-based services. The Council provides governance of Westview Lodge and five self-contained senior residences in the area.
The Council meets on the third Thursday of every month at 9:00 a.m. The term appointment is two (2) years.
