The Town is seeking energetic, dynamic individual for the position of a Full-Time Facility Maintenance Operator 1. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems, equipment, and all other aspects of Town facilities. This individual will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including routine inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure a safe and functional work environment while adhering to Town standards. This person will be part of a great team in not only providing maintenance, but customer service and safety related duties in the Rocky Regional Recreation Centre and other Town facilities.

The FCSS Seniors/Outreach Coordinator is responsible to implement, operate, and coordinate a wide range of preventative social service programs that conform to the intent and guidelines of the provincial government’s FCSS program. The successful candidate must promote collaboration among community groups and organizations in the Clearwater Region to aid the support, education and safety of seniors and individuals, families, and communities and outlying areas of the Clearwater Region. This includes Rocky Mountain House, Nordegg, Leslieville, Condor, Withrow, and Caroline.
The coordinator will provide services within Clearwater County as service needs arise, offer ongoing programming for seniors, individuals, and communities, and on-site FCSS office assistance to vulnerable people in need.
As a key player in our team you will have the following qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in the Human Services field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in Community Service programming.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the philosophy, principles, and practices of community development, social programming and volunteerism.
- Experience with volunteer boards and the group dynamics within organizations and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, the general public, other government departments, community agencies, and organizations.
- Alberta Driver’s license and automobile.
- Provide a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check for review and acceptance.
- First Aid/CPR is required.

The Town is seeking an energetic, dynamic individual for the position of Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be strongly devoted to public service, team-orientated, innovative and results-driven. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the Town's financial system including maintenance and operation of the Town's municipal accounting software and the supervision of finance staff. This includes preparation of financial reporting, assisting with the year-end audit and budgeting, staff supervision and compliance with legislative requirements.

- Experience with an accounting firm conducting year ends and audits is an asset.
- Knowledge & experience with large system financial software is an asset, specifically Diamond Municipal Software, Caseware & Questica
- Strong computer skills in excel and word are required.
- Self-motivated requiring a minimum of supervision
- Ability to deal with staff and the public in an easy and efficient manner
- Full-time attendance in the office is required (this is NOT a remote position)
