The Town is seeking energetic, dynamic individual for the position of Facility Attendant. The successful candidate will be strongly devoted to public service, be team orientated, innovative and result-driven. This person will be part of a great team in providing customer service, custodial/janitorial and safety related duties in the Rocky Regional Recreation Centre and other Town facilities.
You will be working in a vibrant community of 6,800 at the doorstep to the Rocky Mountains and outdoor adventure. We have all the amenities and more. The Town is seeking an energetic, dynamic individual for the position of Summer Day Camp Coordinator. The successful candidate will be strongly devoted to public service, be team orientated, innovative and result driven. Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service by coordinating the Summer Day Camp program and other Town recreation activities and summer events. This person will be part of a great team in providing the leadership, planning, and coordination of the Town’s Summer Day Camp program in Rocky Mountain House.
You will be working in a vibrant community of 6,800 at the doorstep to the Rocky Mountains and outdoor adventure. We have all the amenities and more. Specific duties include:
- Planning, implementation, supervision, promotion & evaluation of the Summer Day Camps program.
- Using leadership and planning skills to manage the Summer Day Camp Leaders and activities.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of campers from ages 5-12 for the Summer Day Camp program.
- Develop and foster relationships through professional, courteous, and efficient service to parents and campers alike.
- Plan and supervise recreational activities for campers and summer events.
- Supervise campers during before and after care.
- Adhere to all Town and camp processes and procedures.
- Communicate in a professional and timely manner with parents, campers, and staff.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
This position is a full-time 40 hours per week for 13 weeks. Contract position from June 1 - August 28, 2026 (Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM)

The Town is seeking an energetic, dynamic individual for the position of Public Works Operator 1. The successful candidate will be strongly devoted to public service, be team orientated, innovative and results-driven. This person will be part of a great team that operates and maintains the Town’s network of roads, lanes, alleys, and sidewalks. They will also assist with water/sewer/storm infrastructure, cemetery, parks, and fleet.
You will be working in a vibrant community of 6,800 at the doorstep to the Rocky Mountains and outdoor adventure. We have all the amenities and more. As a key player in our team, you will have or be willing to achieve the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid Class 3 Drivers Licence with Air Brakes (Q) considered an asset.
- Motor Grader experience would be considered an asset.
- Organized, self-directed and able to complete jobs assigned with minimal supervision.
- Able to actively participate in a team setting.
- Willing to take additional training and learn new skills.
- Willing and able to do physically demanding work, outside, in all weather conditions.
- Driver’s abstract and criminal records check will both required if chosen for the position.
