The Town is seeking energetic, dynamic individual for the position of Facility Attendant. The successful candidate will be strongly devoted to public service, be team orientated, innovative and result-driven. This person will be part of a great team in providing customer service, custodial/janitorial and safety related duties in the Rocky Regional Recreation Centre and other Town facilities.
You will be working in a vibrant community of 6,800 at the doorstep to the Rocky Mountains and outdoor adventure. We have all the amenities and more. Living in Rocky Mountain House you can experience live arts, concerts, all sports or belong to one of the multiple community organizations. Town amenities include the Rocky Regional Recreation Centre, the Co-operative Aquatic Centre, skateboard park, spray park, ball diamonds, parks, extensive trail system and playgrounds. As a key player in our team you will have the following qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience
- Positive attitude
- Criminal Record Check with a “Vulnerable Sector Check” is a condition of employment.
- Child Welfare Services “Intervention Check” is a condition of employment.
- First Aid/CPR & WHIMS is required

Senior Lifeguard | Casual | Posting active until a suitable candidate is found
The Town is seeking an energetic, dynamic individual for the position of Senior Lifeguard. The successful candidate will be strongly devoted to public service, be team orientated, innovative and result driven. This person will be part of a great team in providing good public relations, lifeguarding, quality instruction, water chemistry readings, procedures of cash register and janitorial duties at the Aquatic Centre.
You will be working in a vibrant community of 6,800 at the doorstep to the Rocky Mountains and outdoor adventure. We have all the amenities and more. Living in Rocky Mountain House you can experience live arts, concerts, all sports or belong to one of the multiple community organizations. As a key player in our team you will have or be willing to achieve the following qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Minimum of 3 months experience working at the Rocky Mountain House pool or equivalent experience
- Must conduct a one-hour staff training in-service
- National Lifeguard, Swim & Lifesaving Instructor Certifications.
- Government of Alberta-approved Intermediate First Aid.
- WHMIS and OH&S training
- Junior lifeguard experience
- Cash experience
