Fitness Centre

The Fitness Centre will reopen on Monday, June 22, for individual workouts. All group classes are suspended for the summer. Please read and understand the new procedures in place at the Christenson Sports and Wellness Centre and Fitness Centre before resuming your workouts.

Equipment has been spaced appropriately to meet Alberta Health guidelines. New Hours of Operation:
Monday to Thursday 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Existing Memberships:
Existing memberships were paused during the COVID-19 closure. All existing memberships will be reinstated from your first visit to the fitness centre, or on the day of the Credit Union Co-op Aquatic Centre reopening (tentatively scheduled for Aug. 10), whichever comes first.

New procedures overview:

  • All patrons must complete a COVID-19 screening checklist on arrival.
  • Check in/pay at Guest Services on main floor. Receive a cleanser spray bottle (this will eliminate patrons touching more than one spray bottle, and help us keep track of the number of people in the gym).
  • All patrons must wipe down touch-points and equipment before and after use, follow directional signage and maintain physical distance.
  • Change rooms and showers are closed. Please come dressed and ready for your workout. Leave all valuables at home as locker space is limited.
  • If you feel unwell, skip your workout!
