KICKSTART Community Grants

The Town of Rocky Mountain House has launched a community Kickstart Grant Program, to assist non-profit organizations safely recover from the effects of the covid-19 pandemic.
$100,000 is available to Town-based organizations (up to $5,000 each) to support public events in taking place in 2021. Events must have a strong local purchasing component, and be held in Town or at a Town-owned facility. Council approved the Kickstart Grant Program at its regular meeting on June 8.
All non-profit groups operating within the Town of Rocky Mountain House are eligible to apply. The event may be free or ticketed, but must be open to the public to attend. Organizations must agree to purchase all items/supplies from local businesses (some exceptions), and the applicant must adhere to all provincial Covid-19 public health regulations in place at the time of the event.
Some examples of eligible events include concerts, music festivals, talent shows, indoor/outdoor markets, fundraising dinners, car shows, educational training, sporting events and more.
